Join us for two engaging tours exploring how water shapes recreation, industry, and life in downtown Lexington.  Our first tour will feature Gatton Park on the Town Branch, newly opened in August 2025. Discover the innovative engineering and thoughtful design that have revitalized downtown and reconnected the community with the historic Town Branch Creek — once buried and forgotten, now uncovered and thriving as a signature element of the park’s landscape.

The second tour will take you to a local distillery near downtown, where you’ll learn how Lexington’s unique water sources and limestone geology create the ideal foundation for crafting world-class bourbon. Explore the distillation process and see firsthand why water is key to the region’s rich bourbon heritage.

Don’t miss these special opportunities to experience how water continues to shape the spirit and vitality of downtown Lexington.
