He serves as General Manager of the Meade County Water District, where he oversees the delivery of reliable, high-quality water service and leads infrastructure improvements that support long-term system reliability and regional growth.
A graduate of Lindsey Wilson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Brett began his career at Campbellsville Water and Sewer, advancing through several operational leadership roles, including Operations Manager and Interim General Manager. He later served as Operations Manager and Fort Knox Systems Director at Hardin County Water District No. 1 before joining Meade County Water District.
Throughout his career, Brett has built expertise in utility operations, infrastructure planning, emergency response, and rate management. Known for his practical leadership and commitment to public service, he is also a frequent speaker, sharing lessons on resilience and innovation within the water industry.
