Wade Murphy graduated from Tennessee Technological University in December 1985 with a B.S. in Engineering – Civil Emphasis. He began his career with TDEC in 1986 spending the last 27 years in water quality permitting, three years in sewer construction plan review, three years in household hazardous waste program implementation and seven years in wastewater plant construction inspection for the state revolving fund program.
