Jeff Eger has spent over thirty years in the water industry. Having been appointed to the Boone-Florence Water Commission board of directors, Eger was called on by the County Executive of Boone County and his fellow commissioners to accept the position when the original General Manager announced his retirement. The commission was kicking off over $30 million dollars of capital construction and needed to develop a vulnerability and resiliency study. The Commission was established to purchase water from the Greater Cincinnati Water Works and resell to the city and county water utilities. Jeff’s career experiences range from entrepreneurship to C-Suite leadership. He has worked as Executive Director of Northern Kentucky’s Sanitation District No.1, and has served as CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and CEO of the Water Environment Federation.
