Jon Sparkman is the Director of Engineering for Tennessee American Water in Chattanooga. With a 30-year career spanning both consulting engineering firms and water and wastewater utilities, Jon brings a wealth of experience to his role. Before joining Tennessee American Water, he served as the Engineering Manager for the Water and Wastewater Divisions at Cleveland Utilities. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Jon spent 25 years working with two engineering consulting companies in Chattanooga prior to transitioning to the utility side of the industry. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors and part-time farming on his family’s farm.
