Alana Cranford is a Water Operations Engineer in Training with Metro Water Services in Nashville, Tennessee. She supports large-scale infrastructure projects including plant expansions, reservoir rehabilitations, and treatment process improvements. With experience at various engineering firms and water treatment facilities, Alana brings a practical understanding of both design and operations in the water sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is certified as a Grade IV Water Treatment Plant Operator (TN) and Class IV Professional Operator. Alana currently serves as Chair of the KY/TN AWWA Water Equation Committee, where she leads efforts to support current and aspiring water professionals through operator scholarships and community service initiatives like the Community Engineering Corps.
