Dale began his employment with Gatlinburg in 1990 as a Plumbing Inspector with the Utilities Department handling the grease trap and cross connection enforcement program before transferring to the Building Department doing plans review, permitting and codes Inspections for 5 years. Returning to the Utilities Department in 2004, Dale has served as Manager for the water and sewer utilities for Gatlinburg for the last 20 years.
