The Kentucky Division of Water (KDOW) and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) are both tasked with developing state nutrient reduction strategies under the Hypoxia Task Force. To achieve their goals, both agencies collaborate on priority watersheds, share information on nutrient loading, facilitate grant pursuits, and improve nutrient treatment at clean water facilities. Representatives from both agencies will share how they are leveraging their strengths to build partnerships and what they are learning along the way.
