Executing projects in-house offers distinct advantages, including greater control over costs, quality, and timelines. However, this approach also presents challenges, particularly within the complex and highly regulated environment of water and wastewater utilities. In this session, I’ll share key lessons learned from managing electrical and mechanical maintenance projects in-house, providing insights on effective project planning, cross-departmental collaboration, resource management, and regulatory compliance.
