How does it REALLY work? A "one year later" owner review of the Central Optimization Project.

Description
Metro Nashville's Central WRF Optimization Project was called by many a "once in a lifetime" project. The project touched essentially every process in the plant, from influent pump station to disinfection. At one point or another, every part of the plant had to be shut down for various time frames, including tanks or processes that had NEVER been shut down since they were constructed. The MOPO (maintenance of plant operations) process developed during this project has set the standard for Metro's projects moving forward. This project effectively added 100 MGD of throughput capacity without adding any additional tankage. So how has it all actually worked? What would we have done differently if we could go back? This presentation tells it straight from the owner. No consultants, no sales reps, no vendors. Some of the content will include:
1. Headworks Debris Removal vs. expected
2. Billions of gallons treated without ammonia violations
3. Consistency of operational data/parameters
4. Equipment performance over the first full year of operation
5. Actual capacity improvements/increase
Consultants and vendors will promise the moon and stars, but does the equipment actually perform as promised/expected. Well we’ve operated it for a full year since the “circus” left town, so we’re going to talk real life performance. They said it was designed with "operations in mind". Do we agree? Come to the presentation and find out.
