This session will discuss AWWA’s federal policy priorities and how they interact with legislation developed and actions taken in the 119th Congress. Participants will learn about legislative developments surrounding water infrastructure, cybersecurity, water affordability, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), as well as how potential congressional action on these issues may impact water utilities’ operations. This presentation will also cover the continued implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, now in its fourth year.
