Nicole Refolo, P.E., serves as the Infrastructure Planning Program Administrator at Louisville/Jefferson County MSD and has been working in the engineering profession for 10 years. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering. Nicole has a wide range of experience, including regulatory compliance and long-term planning for stormwater, wastewater, and flood protection. Prior to joining MSD, Nicole worked in Texas for the San Antonio River Authority, focusing on park development and stream restoration. She has also worked in the private sector, where she focused on sanitary design and stormwater master planning. In her current role as a part of the Infrastructure Planning Group, she is the lead for stormwater master planning efforts and is heavily involved with securing alternate funding on behalf of the agency.
