Mr. Dompke is an Indiana professional engineer with M. E. Simpson Company since 2021. M. E. Simpson is a niche service provider specializing in infrastructure improvement, water loss control, asset management and water utility revenue enhancement. Mr. Dompke has served both public and private sectors for over 35 years in consulting, utility management and local government. His experience encompasses land development, public works, drinking water, wastewater, stormwater and geospatial services. His work history includes the City of Bloomington (IN) Utilities, GRW Engineers and Columbus (IN) City Utilities. His primary focus has been planning and prioritizing capital improvements. He has established asset-based rate structures for water, wastewater and stormwater utilities. A lifelong Hoosier, he grew up in a restaurant family in Michigan City, and graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in civil engineering. He started his career in Bloomington, Indiana where he raised his family and still resides.
