Description

One of Nashville’s largest sewer force stood in the way of building a new football stadium for the Titans. From concept to commissioning the project team successfully relocated over 2,000 feet of 60-inch Sewer force main in 12 months. The presentation will provide an overview of the project and challenges of relocating a 60-inch Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) to allow for the construction of the new stadium; including planning & design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Accelerated schedule and design build approach. Finding an alignment that worked with the existing stadium operations while allowing for construction of the new stadium Pipe and Pipeline design Early Material Procurement Coordination with Nissan Stadium Events such as Taylor Swift, CMA Fest, and the Grand Prix.. Installing a 60-inch pipe 20-feet deep across and 20 feet from the main entrance of Nissan Stadium Planning and making connections to the existing sewer FM. Utility relocations for the utility relocation.
