The Kentucky Division of Water will discuss DOW’s assistance to water systems in implementing the Lead and Copper Rule revisions, with a focus on the first compliance requirement – the service line inventory. DOW, utilities, and partners have collaborated to develop a materials, guidance, and trainings to assist water systems with these rule revisions. We also have partnered with RCAP and Kentucky Rural Water Association to provide technical assistance using Bipartisan Infrastructure Law set-asides. DOW will discuss this process, including complications and achievements along the way.
