The Partnership for Safe Water (PSW) is a peer network for water utilities seeking to lead by example, go beyond the regulations, and pursue excellence in operations. This presentation will provide an overview the PSW program framework, optimization goals, and award levels for industry recognition. The road to excellence starts with a team-based approach to understanding factors limiting performance, establishing optimization goals, and developing action plans to improve operations over time. This presentation will highlight the self-assessment and peer-review process and how it can serve as a springboard for changing utility culture and a pathway for continuous improvement.
