Description
Since 1860 with just 500 customers, to the present day with over 850,000 Louisville Water has been supplying the city with drinking water. This pumping station and treatment plant provide most of the drinking water for Louisville, and portions of several other counties surrounding the city. Many changes and upgrades have occurred over the past 164 years. On the tour you will follow the path of water from the working pump stations to the reservoir and through the treatment process, ending at the filtration plant.
